Troja Castle (Trojský zámek) is a Baroque building in the Troja district of Prague, in the immediate vicinity of the Prague Zoo (westbound). It is located on the right bank of the Vltava River, in its area there are also several farm buildings, including a stable. The castle also included a vineyard and the chapel of St. Clare (north), which is now part of the Botanical Garden. The castle building is surrounded by an extensive castle garden with many ornamental and fruit trees and a small natural maze, which is decorated with fountains, terracotta vases, stucco brochures and orangeries with busts of emperors. The castle is part of the property of the capital. Prague and including the garden is open to the public. The Gallery of the Capital City of Prague organizes seasonal exhibitions here every year from April to October. In the castle interior we can see the unique fresco decoration of the halls.
