Tatra 815 is a heavy truck of modular construction with 4×4, 6×6, 8×8, 10×8, 10×10, 12×8 and 12×12 axles for use on the road and in difficult terrain. The engines are liquid- or air-cooled and have outputs ranging from 230–440 kW (310–590 hp). Czech racer Karel Loprais achieved six victories in the Dakar Rally with the T815 model. The car was modernized in the first half of the 90s under the name 815-2, in 1997 as TERRN°1 and most recently in 2018 under the name Terra. Tatra is considering ending production of this model by 2023-2024.
