Jenčov (also Jinčov) is a castle ruin in the Křivoklátsko Protected Area on a small rocky outcrop above the Vůznice stream in the Křivoklátská vrchovina in the middle of the Křivoklátské forests at an altitude of 340 m above sea level. The ruin is located about 6 km north of Nižbor on the edge of the Vůznice National Nature Reserve and about 2 km south from the municipality of Běleč, to whose cadastral territory it belongs. It is protected as a cultural monument of the Czech Republic.
It is one of our smallest royal castles, which probably always served only as a hunting lodge. The exact date of the castle's founding is unknown, research has confirmed its existence at the turn of the 13th and 14th centuries, and its founder was probably Přemysl Otakar II. The hunting castle of Jenčov probably belonged either directly to the city of Nižbor, or more likely to the castle of Křivoklát, which is located not far from here.
