The building of the general school from Velké Karlovice-Miloňov no longer exists in its original form, and its replica is located in the open-air museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm. The original school was built in 1888 and its construction was paid for by the then wealthy local businessman, the owner of the glassworks, Salomon Reich. Its full name was the Jubilee National School of Emperor Francis Joseph I.
During your visit to the Wallachian Village, you can not only see the school building and its herb and vegetable garden, but also go inside and see the school classroom, the teacher's office and listen to a short story about what teaching was like in the old days.
