The hull is tiltable to the rear (side folding is not shown to maintain some stiffness of the hull) and you can only use the lower half of the sidewalls. The front wheels are rotating, the bonnet can be raised.

The Praga S5T (road five-ton, colloquially espétka) is a road truck of medium tonnage, built on the basis of the off-road three-ton Praga V3S, from which it mainly adopted the drivetrain, modified frame and cabin. Unlike the V3S, the S5T is two-axle, with rear-wheel drive (4x2 designation). Three development versions were gradually created, differing mainly in the engine used. The basic version of the vehicle was a flatbed and a three-sided tipper. In addition to them, however, other purpose-built superstructures were also fitted to the car. There were also variants with an extended wheelbase or an extended cabin. Under the designation S5T-TN, semi-trailer tractors were created based on a modified S5T chassis. The production of the Praga S5T car took place in 1956–1961 at AZKG Praha-Vysočany, and then, until its termination in 1972, at Avia Letňany.
