The Paletín Chapel, also called the Chapel of the Fourteen Holy Helpers, is located on the red tourist route, one kilometer east of the ruins of Košumberk Castle, in the cadastral territory of the town of Luže. Built in the Baroque style. It is not freely accessible to the public.
In 1620, the superior of the Chlumec residence, Jan Kotz, had it built as a thank you for averting the plague epidemic that affected Luža in the previous years. The Luž people remembered him: "Father Koc had a lot of money, he built a chapel on a green lawn and still had enough." The building was completed in 1624 and consecrated by superior Jiří Hlinský. It is dedicated to 14 holy helpers, protectors against the plague.
It is an octagonal central with pilasters at the corners and an entrance portal with a cartouche and the monogram "IHS". The interior is also divided by pilasters, the walls are provided with niches and on the north side a porch. At the beginning of the 20th century, the chapel contained the altar of the Fourteen Holy Helpers and a smaller side altar with a copy of the Salvator of Chrudim.
