The Lancia Delta S4 is a Group B competition car manufactured by the Italian carmaker Lancia. The Delta S4 competed in the 1985 and 1986 World Rally Championships until the Group B class was disbanded and the cars were eventually eliminated from the competition by the European FIA Approval Authority. The car replaced and evolved 037. The S4 took full advantage of Group B regulations and featured an engine located in the middle of the ship and all-wheel drive for excellent traction on unpaved surfaces.
