Karosa C 734 is a model of a long-distance intercity bus manufactured by Karosa Vysoké Mýto between 1981 and 1997. It is the successor to the line version of the Š series, the ŠL 11. The C 734 bus has become the basic model of the new 700 series bodywork. It is a two-axle car. with square, semi-self-supporting body of panel construction. The engine is located behind the rear axle, in the rear panel area. Between the axles under the body there is a luggage compartment with a volume of 3.5 m³. The front axle from LIAZ has independently suspended wheels, the rigid rear axle comes from the Hungarian company Rába. Hot water heating is powerful, but at temperatures below 0 ° C it has a problem to heat the whole car. Ventilation at high temperatures is also a problem, as the sliding parts are only located on the two windows on the right and the three on the left. Impulse ventilation from two fans thus cannot efficiently exchange air. In the right side there are two double swing doors. Both are about the same width, the first is located in front of the front axle, the second is located in the middle of the car. Passenger seats are located 2 + 2 with a middle aisle.
