Karosa B732.20

Karosa B 732 is a model of suburban and city three-door bus, manufactured by Karosa Vysoké Mýto in the years 1983-1997. The B 732 bus is identical in construction and appearance to the Karosa B 731. It is a two-axle bus with a square, semi-self-supporting body of a panel construction. The car's engine is located behind the rear axle, in the rear panel area. In the right side there are three double-leaf folding doors (the front ones are designed primarily for the exit of passengers, so they are narrower). Passenger seats are located 1 + 2, above the axles 2 + 2. The only change from the B 731 with an automatic transmission is the manual transmission, which was fitted to the B 732 because, while the B 731 was designed exclusively for urban traffic, the B 732 could also be used for suburban transport. The B 732 cars had a similar fate in production as the B 731. Over time, the buses were modified and improved. Like the B 731, the B 732 from the last production series also has an extended rounded stern, which was also used on the successor to the 700 series bodywork, 900 series. The reason for installing this stern was the need for a longer rear overhang 732.1658, B 732.1660 and B732.1666).
