The pad under the model is made of spruce or fir wood. It is a so-called jointing board, ie a board made of solid wood created by gluing solid prisms together and their visual processing by planing and milling the facet. The pad has no surface finish. The modeler has the advantage of choosing the shade of stain or varnish.

It is a natural material with all the beauties and defects of the original. Ie. You won't find two identical boards in terms of years, threads and knots.

We offer pads either in the shape of a square or rectangles and in several different dimensions. The thickness of all pads is always the same, 1.8 cm.

The upper bevel has a depth of 5 mm. The actual storage area for the model is 1 cm smaller for each pad.
