The Martin B-26 Marauder was an American twin-engine, nose-mounted medium bomber used during World War II. It was modernly equipped, but difficult for inexperienced pilots to control. As a result, it received unflattering nicknames such as the Martin Murderer, The Flying Coffin, One-Way Ticket, and (perhaps most famously) The Widow Maker.
