The Dassault Super Mystère was a French fighter and fighter-bomber aircraft manufactured by Dassault Aviation, which first flew in 1955. It was the first Western European supersonic aircraft to enter mass production, with a total of 180 built. It served in the French Air Force until 1977, and in the Israeli Air Force from 1958, where it saw service during the Six-Day War and Yom Kippur War. In the 1970s, Israel sold 16 completed airframes to Honduras, which used the aircraft in border clashes.
