The model is based on the original design, but all parts have been carefully tested and fine-tuned. The author of the model is Robert Navrátil, who collaborated with a team of experts.

History of Pernštejn Castle
The model contains 181 numbered parts and is divided into 16 pages with parts. The instructions include 14 pages, of which 9 pages of point instructions guide the build step by step in detail. All parts were again carefully tested and fine-tuned, which ensures clearer markings and a completely new graphic design. The model is printed by offset printing on pages measuring 320 x 225 mm.
Pernštejn Castle, built between 1270 and 1285, is an important monument of Czech architecture. Throughout its history it underwent several modifications that turned it into a representative residence. Today it is protected as a monument and open to the public, administered by the National Heritage Institute. The castle is ranked among the most important Moravian castles, and its preservation attracts the attention of many visitors.

What should I expect from this model?
Difficulty 4 of 5 — a lot of parts, fine work and sections that demand precision. Tweezers, sharp blades and building in sub-assemblies as the instructions suggest all pay off. We wouldn't recommend it as a first model.
What will I need for the build?
A sharp hobby knife or scissors, paper glue, a ruler and a cutting mat. An empty ballpoint pen for scoring the folds and watercolour matching the part for touching up cut edges come in handy too. On a model this large you will also appreciate tweezers for the small parts, a circle cutter for the wheels and above all spare blades — a blunt blade tears the paper instead of cutting it.
How fast do you ship?
Everything we have in stock leaves no later than the next business day — on average an order takes us ~21 hours to process. Most carriers collect before noon, so an evening order usually leaves the next morning.
What if I also order something that is not in stock?
For items on order or in stock at the supplier we do our best to keep the announced dispatch date. We do not split orders into several parcels — if an order contains back-ordered items, it ships complete once everything has arrived. If you need the in-stock items sooner, please order them separately.
When will my parcel arrive?
Once we hand the parcel to the carrier, delivery is up to them — typically 2–6 business days within Europe. We always e-mail you the tracking number when the order ships.

Pick-up points and home delivery across Europe; sheets and boxes are packed in rigid packaging so they arrive without a single bent corner.

How do you pack the parcels?
Packing is handled by Martin, who knows exactly what an undamaged model means to a builder or a collector. We use rigid cardboard, fillers and foils so that everything in your order is properly secured. And should anything happen on the way, just let us know — we will sort it out.
