Pernštejn Castle 2025
Twenty years after the original release (2005), a completely revised and improved version of the popular model is here! It is based on the basic original design, but all parts have been carefully tested, modified and fine-tuned again. The model has completely new graphics, clearer markings and a new unique "point-by-point" instruction manual that will guide you through the construction step by step.
An experienced team of model enthusiasts and experts participated in the creation of the model. The author of the model is Robert Navrátil, who is also behind the original release from 2005. Testing of the new version was in charge of Ondra Šretr, whose careful work helped to fine-tune many details. Expert supervision and consultations were provided by Tomáš “Timmy” Hrebík, who helped us bring the model to its final form.
The graphic design of the cover and instructions was created by Jaime Zabala, and pre-press preparation was provided by Vladimír Ludva.

The Gothic Pernštejn Castle from the mid-13th century stands on the eastern edge of the Bohemian-Moravian Highlands, near the settlement of Pernštejn, part of the town of Nedvědice, which formed its suburb. The building of the classical early Gothic noble castle of the Lords of Pernštejn with a simple bergfrit layout was rebuilt several times in the High Gothic and Late Gothic styles and, above all, expanded until the 16th century. Nevertheless, when transformed into a representative and comfortable residence, it did not lose its defensive capabilities, thanks to which Pernštejn is ranked among the most important Moravian castles. It is a protected monument and was declared a national cultural monument in 1995. The castle is owned by the Czech Republic, is open to the public and is administered by the National Institute of Monuments.
