Kleines Kettenkraftrad Type HK 101; Wehrmacht military designation: Sonderkraftfahrzeug 2 (Sd.Kfz. 2) is a light half-track vehicle designed and manufactured by NSU in Neckarsulm. The SdKfz 2 was used by the Wehrmacht in the years.

The NSU factory in Neckarsulm produced approximately 7,500 of these vehicles during the war, of which 500 were pre-series. From 1943, the HK 101 was manufactured under license by Stoewer in Stettin (approximately 1,300 units). achieved in 1944.
The SdKfz 2 was originally developed to support airborne troops. It fit into the side cargo door of a standard Junkers Ju 52 transport aircraft. It carried only two men in addition to the driver, but it was distinguished by its considerable traction, high cross-country ability and high speed with a range of up to 240 kilometers. It spread to all branches of the army as a reconnaissance vehicle and a vehicle for officers moving in field conditions.
