Abarth 595 Competizione - COBI plastic kit

The new Fiat 500 was introduced on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the start of production of the original 500 type, for differentiation it is sometimes referred to as the Nuova 500 (new 500 in Czech). Fiat also previously produced the Cinquecento model, which is the Italian term for 500. The Fiat 500 is based on the Trepiuno concept, presented at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show. In terms of appearance, it is almost no different from it. The goal was to create a retro car in the style of the new MINI and Volkswagen New Beetle, but smaller in size and with a lower purchase price. The car shares a platform with the Fiat Panda and the second generation Ford Ka. All named models are/will be produced at the Polish plant in Tychy. A sporty Abarth version is also available. Since 2010, a convertible version has been available, sold under the name Fiat 500C.
